The Southwest Clinic Alliance has built a new CSSD / RUMED at the Calw clinic site, Robert-Bosch-Straße 13. In the modern facility, the medical products for 4 clinics will be reprocessed, including medical products of the Critical C level.
The turn-key modular building constructed by MMM will initially start with a capacity of approx. 25,000 StU/year, but the equipment is designed for 45,000 StU/year with the aim of supplying further hospitals with sterile supplies after the planned renovations and new buildings of the hospitals of the Southwest Clinic Alliance.
The floor area of the new building is approx. 520 sqm. The order was placed in April 2022 and at the end of November, 13 modules were delivered and assembled in two days. Completion will take place in the next few weeks. After the commissioning of the medical technology and process validation, trial operation is scheduled for March.
